These healthy, filling, and protein-packed snacks are a great way to fuel up before a workout, or to help recover after some tough training. This recipe was originally created by Gregg Avedon, a fitness and nutrition writer for Men's Health Magazine. I gave the recipe a try and loved it! Super easy and great tasting, I found that these snacks were a great departure from most store bought "energy bars." A word of warning though: these protein bites get soft fairly quickly after coming out of the freezer, so keep them cold until you are ready to eat! Enjoy!
